THE COOL MUST DO at the Kidz Field Glastonbury Festival!
Re-Play Music, in association with Access To Music's Atom Live Team and the Rockhopper Studio, are bringing music workshops, Busker's Stage and fantastic mobile recording studio to Glastonbury Festival Kidz Field 2010 - officially the biggest children’s festival area in Europe.
The Re-Play Music and Atom Live area will be a crucial part of the Kidz Field this year. They will be providing free music lessons for the duration of the festival using recycled guitars, violins and ukuleles. Children have an amazing opportunity to take part in workshops, perform live and record songs too in the most exciting recording studio ever built. This will be a vibrant and interactive environment that may produce the future stars of the Glastonbury Pyramid Stage.
If that’s not enough for budding musicians one of the most amazing artists you will ever see, Rodney Branigan, will be running an exclusive FREE Extreme Guitar Workshop and master-class on the Saturday in the Green Fields. Rodney has redefined the role and limits of his instrument - the guitar. He can play two guitars at once better than most can play one!
Rodney Branigan's master classes will also be available in Kidz field at the Access To Music Re-Play workshops in the Kidz Field also provide a taster of another unique music making experience for children – The Summer Band Factory running in August at Uppingham School, Rutland.
Jono Heale, Access To Music’s Head of Events, says: ‘this will be an amazing opportunity at Glastonbury for children to write, perform and even record their songs with professional guidance. If your kids are into music this is undoubtedly THE COOL MUST DO at the Kidz Field in Glastonbury Festival this year!’
