From national auditions, unsigned acts have the chance to tour the UK in a professional Sleeper Tour Coach including an exclusive stop at Liverpool Sound City 2011.
Access to Music is the UK’s leading designer and provider of popular music education. They provide dynamic vocationally-related services inspired by direct involvement with the music industry. One result is empowerment and engagement through realistic opportunities for students through their national events wing - Atom Live, which specialises in exciting events for young people in the creative arts.
Atom Live are proud to showcase some of the new up-and-coming talent from Access To Music at Liverpool Sound City 2011.
Towering Heights are a pivotal heavy rock quartet from Lincoln with inspired stadium rock sound of towering heights at every performance. Jimi's Parade with Sheffield songwriter Liam Burns are describe as raw yet melodic fused by honesty and realism. 2011 saw them booked for showcases at SXSW in Texas along with their first single release, The Lover, on iTunes through Ditto Music.

The Perfect Pitch
Access to Music invited hopeful young entrepreneurs into their Dragon's Den-style Music Biz Bid Shop at the recent Atom Live Conventions where they presented a Perfect Pitch for their music business to four music dragons.
From the many students who entered, three have been chosen to pitch their music entrepreneurial idea at the final at Liverpool Sound City on Friday 20th May, 2-3pm in Breakout Room 3 (see Liverpool Sound City website for more details) to a top-flight panel of music industry experts.
