Play Safe Week is a national campaign to raise awareness of health and safety issues related to musicians. Currently supported by the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine, Audio Relief, the RNID, the British Tinnitus Association and Advanced Communication Solutions. Students have the opportunity to take part in a competition and gain advice on various subjects including hearing protection. The provision of up-to-date health and safety resources for teaching staff can be provided, which can be imbedded into the curriculum or Key-Skills and utilised as enrichment.
