Atom Live Masterclass Tour
Amazing and impossibly talented Rodney Branigan has teamed up with the Access To Music and their unique Atom Live enrichment programme to provide master-classes for students.
"Rodney Branigan is one of the most amazing artists you will ever see. Not simply because he's unique, but rather because he's impossibly talented."
Like the first person who transformed his Italian violin into an Irish fiddle, Rodney Branigan has redefined the role and limits of his instrument - the guitar. There is simply no way to adequately describe this performance with mere words. He can play two guitars at once better than most can play one! Strumming the body of a twelve-string, while picking the neck of a six-string, Rodney creates music by himself that sounds like it is coming from a trio. His right and left hand frequently seem to be disassociated from each other, performing rhythm and lead parts, independently. And on many occasions, one or both hands become percussionists, utilizing different parts of the guitar as drums.
Rodney will be visiting Access To Music Centres across the UK providing a unique master-class before a local gig in the evening supported by music students.

Further to another productive meeting today at MTV HQ in Camden, more events and collaborations seem set to follow.

Atom Live - music & events are proud to now be endorsed by amplification giants Marshall.
All event backline amps will consist of top spec MG & MB series amp heads & cabs.
This is another great addition to the Atom Live music equipment inventory, ensuring that all students and clients 'rock-out' and perform with the best professional gear!
Marshall Amplification began in 1962 in London England. It was here that I had a music shop and taught the drums. As you all know, music shops are not just a place where musicians try and buy gear but are also places where musicians go to chat and spend the time of day. In this respect the Marshall shop was no different from any other music shop. As drummers came to my shop, so came their guitarists. Their guitarists spoke to me about what guitars they wanted and the qualities they were looking for in a guitar amplifier. Qualities I hasten to add that they couldn't find elsewhere at that time. It was from such conversations that I embarked upon the amp manufacturing business and it is a journey that I am still on today and enjoy as much as ever.
