DJ Bailey Live and Q&A

Bailey will be performing and giving an exclusive Q&A Session in the main Area at the BPM Show on Education Day, Monday 4th October, at The NEC Birmingham. Don't miss this wicked opportunity to see this a multi award winning radio presenter for BBC 1Xtra and long standing resident DJ for Goldie’s label ‘Metalheadz’.

He has record releases under his belt on various record labels including Metalheadz, C.I.A, Roni Size’s ‘Full Cycle’ and A Guy Called Gerald’s imprint called Protechshon. However, Bailey is one of a select few that have managed to climb to the very top of the Drum and Bass ladder without the help of production credits.

Bailey’s true passion lies with being the best possible DJ across many styles of Drum and Bass with an impressive track record of bookings that stretch around the globe.

Access to Music & Rockhopper

A new exciting feature for BPM 2010 will be the Access to Music Rockhopper, an amazing sound-proof full production studio all housed in an iconic 1963 Airstream Overlander caravan. It is simply the most exciting Recording Studio ever built!

The inside of the caravan has been totally rebuilt as a custom designed acoustic environment - with separate control room/seating area and recording room. Kitted out with the latest state-of-the-art professional quality recording gear, the Rockhopper is based on Pro Tools HD, the industry standard recording gear and equipped with a large selection of microphones and recording technology.

At BPM the studio will be totally multifunctional. Budding producers will be able to lay down a track using Pro Tools. Meanwhile, DJs can mix it up with Virtual DJ and a Hercules DJ Console controller. MCs and singers will also be welcome to use the Rockhopper’s pro-quality vocal booth to spit some lyrics and make a professional recording. Whatever your style or level of experience there will be loads to get involved with.

The Access to Music and Rockhopper team will be on hand to mix it all down and you can take away a live recording or demo direct from the event; another great opportunity to get noticed and learn at BPM.
