Virgil Lund: Peavey.

Iain Horrocks:  Focusrite & Novation
Gone are the days of music being produced in flashy studios with all the trimmings. The tracks that you are hearing on your favourite radio station these days are likely to have been produced in a bedroom or home studio somewhere. With the power of computers and modern DAWs, the vast majority of new tracks breaking through  were composed, arranged, even mixed and mastered "in the box". With plug-ins replacing expensive analogue hardware and technology becoming more and more affordable, all you really need are 4 things to give your own project studio a kick start: A quality audio interface, a midi controller, a pair of reference monitors and some music software. Focusrite Product specialist, Iain Horrocks will be presenting a 1 hour masterclass on how to produce a track using Ableton Live 8. Iain will be on hand to answer any questions you might have on Focusrite interfaces, Novation Controllers, and KRK monitors.

by Jarvis Cocker to jump on stage with him when Michael Jackson made his infamous
appearance at the Brit awards. Balancing out the amusing side to the discussion Pablo will intersperse
the talk with knowledge that he's learnt first hand from producers including William Orbit and
Langer Winstanley. His aim is to give the students an insight in to what it was like playing with with some of the greats
and as well as conveying the fun and glamorous side of his experience. Pablo also intends to give the
