Atom Live operates in the same way as other professional promotion and event management companies.
In order to get a gig or go on tour, we need to know that you are good at what you do, have the potential for development and can hopefully pull a crowd.
The key elements are combining talent and strong repertoire with a distinctive image and convincing performance backed up by active promotion.

- Selection to play at major national Trade Shows and Industry Events.
- Selection to play on Atom Live and Sound City associated stages at UK festivals.
- Selection to play at national Surface Festival events.
- Selection for the Atom Sounds CD compilation plus digital releases on iTunes with Ditto Music.
- Selection for European gigs and tours in France and Germany with various EU partners including the Bureau De Export De la Musique Francaise.
- Selection to perform at industry showcases - e.g. Liverpool Sound City; Go North.
- Selection for Atom Live representation at SXSW - the international showcase event
- Above all a chance to build your experience, profile and fanbase on a national level working with professionals.
How Do I Get Involved and Try and Get Selected to Perform or Go On Tour?
As easy as 1, 2, 3, 4, 5!
- First you need to register here on the Atom Live website. Click on the OPEN LOGIN tab on the top right-hand corner then click Create An Account. Fill in the blanks with your info, choose a password and then click on Register. Simple! Then you will receive e-shot newsletters about updates on various events and when opportunities are available.

- From the end January 2012 a submission code will then be sent to you to submit your SonicBids EPK to Atom Live with a deadline of Wednesday 29th February. We will only accept applications to play at Atom Live Events 2012 through Sonicbids. This is the professional way to present yourself to promoters and festival organisers. The way to do this, as all pro artists do, is with an Electronic Press Kit (EPK). Sonicbids allows you to create an EPK online.The Sonicbids Electronic Press Kit (EPK™) allows you to quickly and easily compile all of the information a promoter wants to see — your music, videos, biog, photos, press releases and more — so you can connect with the opportunities that are right for you. Email your EPK out to people in the Sonicbids network or anywhere else including Atom Live Events.
- If you are selected you will be asked to attend an Atom Live Tour audition, which start on the 19th March and go through to 30th March 2012 at various venues across the country. The Atom Live Tour final auditions will take place on the 18th May 2012 at Liverpool Sound City Festival. If you are offered a national performance or tour opportunity we will send you a contract, which you will have to complete and return ASAP. For an example of this go to FAQ. Some gigs may offer payment for performance and/or travel expenses or PD's.

2. You will then be sent by return email a new unique and individual EPK Submission Promo Code
3. Make sure you’re logged into your Sonicbids account and visit www.sonicbids.com/AtomLiveTour2012.
4. Click the “Enter Promo Code” link just below the big, red Submit button (on the right side of your screen).
5. Enter your Submissionm Promo Code and click Continue.
6. After clicking Continue you will return to the Atom Live listing page. Click the big, red Submit button.
7. Fill out the submission form and complete your submission as instructed!
